Mechanical Engineering

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world

Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of engineering, physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.

Mechanical Engineering Dept. was started in the year 2008. We have skilled & highly qualified staff members with well furnished and equipped laboratories. The department has kept pace with the rapid development of computer aided methods of design and manufacture with state of the art robotics and CAD/CAM facilities. The laboratories in the department are recognized in a number of areas as testing facilities. The department also has workshops for training in smithy, carpentry, welding and machine tools.

At present, the department offers Diploma courses. It is highly reputed for producing eminent engineers as professionals
